Pensamiento crítico y creativo en la educación preescolar: algunos aportes desde la neuropsicopedagogia

El articulo presenta una aproximación al tema del fomento del pensamiento crítico y creativo en la edad preescolar, considerando algunos aportes desde la neuropsicopegadogia. Se realizó un estudio cualitativo, de nivel descriptivo, mediante búsqueda sistemática de fuentes bibliográficas relacionados con el tema en bases de datos. El texto presenta, en primer lugar, algunos aportes relacionados con la comprensión de los aspectos cognitivos implicados en los procesos de pensamiento crítico y creativo desde los estudios de neurociencia y, en segundo lugar, aborda algunas orientaciones con respecto a estrategias metodológicas para tener en consideración a la hora de fomentar estos tipos de pensamiento en la edad preescolar. Se resaltan tres focos de atención desde las prácticas de enseñanza relevantes para el pensamiento crítico-reflexivo y creativo: fomento de redes semánticas/conceptuales, estratégicas y emocionales-motivacionales; considerando para el diseño de estrategias tanto los aspectos esenciales del proceso de formación de funciones psíquicas superiores, como las características específicas del desarrollo en la edad preescolar
