Necesidades psicológicas y uso problemático de Facebook en una muestra de jóvenes universitarios

Psychological needs and problematic use of the social network Facebook
Resumen
Este estudio tiene como objetivo identificar la relación entre el uso problemático a la red social Facebook y las necesidades psicológicas de afiliación, exhibición y juego en los jóvenes estudiantes de una universidad de la ciudad de Ibagué. Es un estudio no experimental de tipo transversal, con un muestreo aleatorio. Se aplicó el Cuestionario de uso problemático a Facebook en relación con las necesidades psicológicas, se realizó un análisis estadístico correlacional y se identificó la relación entre el uso problemático a la red social Facebook y Necesidades psicológicas (Exhibición, afiliación y juego). Los resultados indican que existe una relación baja entre la variable de uso problemático a esta red social y la necesidad de Afiliación (r= 0.473), necesidad de Juego (r= 0.435) y la necesidad de Exhibición (r = 0.378).
