Las formas de poder-saber en nuestro tiempo: castigo y moralización del individuo

El presente texto se anima en la necesidad de analizar los presupuestos teóricos que, desde elcomienzo de la modernidad, dan cabida a los regímenes jurídicos de nuestros días y a las formas de subjetividad
de ellos derivada.
En el desarrollo del texto se enfatiza en la dimensión poder-saber destacada por Michel Foucault en su
obra; en la cual prima su interés por la verdad surgida de las prácticas sociales concretas más que de los
conocimientos epistemológicamente ordenados. En esa vía, emergen como nociones de trabajo el utilitarismo, el
panoptismo como método de control y transformación del individuo y, principios adyacentes como la visibilidad
del castigo a contrapelo de la invisibilidad del vigilante, la primacía del modelo causa efecto y otros.
Como puntada inicial, aunque próspera en matices emerge la necesidad de la dimensión política, antes
que la filosófica para pensar los asuntos de las prácticas jurídicas, penales de manera privilegiada.
