Descartes: entre lo matemático y el signo

El presente escrito procura atender algunas de las consideraciones generales a partir de lascuales, suele decirse, Descartes rompe con la tradición en diversos sentidos. Nos dedicaremos, entonces, abosquejar las posibles injerencias de Descartes en el pensamiento moderno, teniendo presente su lectura desde la vertiente de lo matemático y, también, desde la perspectiva de los signos.
