Los alcances de la Corte Penal Internacional frente a la autonomía estatal de juzgar los delitos de lesa humanidad

Con el texto que el lector verá a continuación, se pretende dar a conocer, de una manera generalizada, qué es la corte penal internacional, cuáles son sus antecedentes históricos y las principales razones que evocaron a la comunidad mundial a propender por la creación de un organismo de alta influencia en el ámbito judicial. El objetivo del texto es identificar cuáles son los delitos de competencia de esta corte y cómo funciona, en relación con la jurisdicción de los estados que se han adherido, reconocido y aceptado su acción en cuanto a lo relacionado con el stablecimiento de sanciones penales a las acciones violatorias de la dignidad humana y del derecho internacional humanitario. De igual forma, se tratan algunos aspectos que han generado controversia mundial en lo relacionado con la acción de esta corte, como lo es la ambigüedad de las normas por las cuales se rige la misma, y que, por demás, tiene una amplia influencia como norma de carácter internacional que debe primar sobre normas internas.Author Biography
