El artículo de investigación se concentra en fundamentar los componentes del ordenamiento jurídico colombiano que permiten el reconocimiento de la imprescriptibilidad de la acción disciplinaria cuando se trata de violaciones a los derechos humanos y al Derecho Internacional Humanitario por parte de
las Fuerzas Armadas. El problema de dicho asunto es que la acción disciplinaria ante las mencionadas violaciones, tiene un período determinado de prescripción, lo cual hace necesaria una modificación de los tiempos en que prescribe la misma.
