La ciencia crea y modela su objeto, la ciencia jurídica y médica no constituyen una excepción, así modelan también los conceptos y categorías aplicables. Interesa aquí revelar las concepciones expuestas y más aún las encubiertas en el discurso histórico de lo jurídico y psiquiátrico utilizados en la Argentina respecto de la enfermedad mental y la ejecución de las medidas de seguridad aplicables a los inimputables durante el siglo XIX y comienzos del XX.
