El Consejo de la Judicatura (CJ) es el órgano público autónomo e
independiente, responsable de la administración de los recursos materiales y
personales del Poder Judicial (PJ); cuyos objetivos principales son: la
profesionalización de los servidores del sistema de impartición de justicia, mejorar
sus condiciones laborales y vigilar la actuación de los mismos.
Este trabajo presentará el nacimiento de esta institución, su naturaleza jurídica,
ubicación orgánica constitucional, composición, organización administrativa, así
como sus atribuciones y funciones más relevantes y algunas de sus características
en varios ordenamientos nacionales
