The addiction in adolescents, a failed attempt to return to the maternal link

This study aimed to explore the significance of the mother figure and its possible relationship with psychoactive substance dependence in adolescents institutionalized in a treatment center for addictions. The study assumed a psychoanalytic perspective of qualitative, its population was made up of three teenagers and the method used was the case study. Finally it was found that the meanings that adolescents attributed to bond with his mother figure has similar conditions to the organization addictive psychoactive substance.
