The article presents results of research aimed at describing the neurocognitive profile and affective in participants with schema maladaptativo early abandonment / loss, aged between 20 and 40. Used a quantitative methodology of the descriptive level, the sample was comprised of 12 participating controls (without any neurological diagnosis, neuropsychological or scheme early maladaptativo of abandonment / loss) and 12 participants without any neurological diagnosis, neuropsychological but with presence of schema maladaptativo early abandonment / loss. It is then that profile neurocognitive of participants with EMT's abandonment / loss, differs significantly from the profile of participants who do not present the EMT, as we found statistically significant differences in understanding, similarities, memory complex figure of King and the word color (Stroop). Specifically, participants with EMT a/l presented superior performance in these variables and more likely to develop depressive pictures and anxiety under certain circumstances of separation and abandonment.
