Crisis del ser en la sociedad contemporánea

Abstract

Article presents a short reflection on the spiritual and psychological aspects of human beings in contemporary society. The twentieth century was a time of man a progressive fall of ideals and benchmarks for protection and support, which ensured a relative existential security for humans. Among these we can make big three: the death of God proclaimed by Nietzsche, the death of reason, warned by Albert Camus and eventually death of the other, announced by Lipovetsky. Right now, more than ever, humanity needs the emergence of a consciousness that transcends the multiplicity of phenomena produced by the egocentric intellectual thinking. People need to learn to deal with the uncertainty of knowledge and existence without falling into fanatical theoretical explanations grasping without losing the horizon of humanity hidden by the relativity of consumerist and individualistic discourses of society.
